The International Health Policy Program (IHPP) organized a training workshop on 'Health Policy Development & Health Policy Review' during 20-24 February 2023 for delegates from the Capacity Development of Officers of Directorate of Policy Analysis and Development of Ministry, Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka. The workshop was supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) in Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka.

Resource persons from Ministry of Public Health, the National Health Security Office, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the National Health Commission Office, and the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP) had shared Thailand's experiences on health policy development, policy review, and innovative health financial mechanisms for health sector development. 

During the five-day workshop, the delegates from Sri Lanka can integrate the knowledge and experiences to strengthen Sri Lanka's health policy process and capacity building at both the central and regional levels.
